Minister of Gender and Family Zenysha Shaheed Zaki has today undertaken an official visit to Gaafu Alif Atoll Villingili.
During her visit, she met with staff of the Family and Children Service Centre (FCSC) in Villingili and held discussions on ways to strengthen social services provided by the Centre.
Minister Zenysha also held meetings with members of GA. Atoll Council and officials of the Regional Command Police Station in GA. Atoll, and exchanged ideas on collaborative efforts to improve the quality of services provided to children, women, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Minister Zenysha further met with the management of GA. Atoll Hospital and held discussions on the services provided for people who require special assistance and support.
In addition, Minister Zenysha also met with members of the Women’s Development Committee of Villingili, to gain a better understanding of their work and contribution towards community development.
