Minister of Gender and Family H.E. Ms. Zenysha Shaheed Zaki has undertaken an official visit to Faafu Atoll Nilandhoo yesterday. During the visit, she met with staff of the Family and Children Service Centre (FCSC) in Nilandhoo, to discuss ways to strengthen social services provided by the Ministry at the Atoll level.
Minister Zenysha also held meetings with senior officials and members of Faafu Atoll Council, Nilandhoo Island Council, Police and Health Centre to share information on the work undertaken by the Ministry and to discuss areas of collaboration between the relevant agencies. In addition, Minister Zenysha also met with members of the Women’s Development Committee of Nilandhoo, to gain a better understanding of their work and held discussions on future programmes and activities.
