Ministry of Gender and Family has today signed MoUs with three NGOs to advance collaboration in specific areas relating to the promotion and protection of vulnerable groups.
At the ceremony held in Gender Ministry this afternoon, MoUs were signed with Society of Health Education (SHE), Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) and Retirees Association of Maldives (RAM), to collaborate in the following areas for year 2017.
- Provide psychosocial intervention programs for children under State care – SHE
- Conduct activities on promotion and protection child rights, and organize programs for children under State care – ARC
- Raise Awareness and conduct activities on promotion and protection of rights m and welfare of senior citizens – RAM
The Ministry thanks the three NGOs who partnered with Ministry today to further advance the ongoing efforts to promote the rights and protection of vulnerable groups in the Maldives. The Ministry also plans to expand similar collaborations with NGOs, companies and other stakeholders in the future.
