Vice President His Excellency Abdulla Jihad has today visited children’s shelter Fiyavathi in Hulhumale’, which is home to 85 children aged below 9 years.
The Vice President was accompanied by the Minister of Gender & Family H.E. Zenysha Shaheed Zaki, the Minister of Home Affairs H.E. Azleen Ahmed, the Minister of Health H.E Abdullla Nazim Ibrahim, the Minister of Islamic Affairs H.E Dr Ahmed Ziyad and the Minister of State at the President’s Office H.E. Mohamed Gassan Maumoon.
The Minister of Gender and Family H.E. Zenysha Shaheed Zaki thanked the Vice President and cabinet ministers for visiting the shelter and for spending some time with the children.
Kudakudhinge Hiya & Amaan Hiya in Vilimale’ and Fiyavathi in Hulhumale’ currently houses a total of 153 children.
