Ministry of Gender and Family has extended the application deadline for the Disability Award to 4 August 2016 since the declaration of July 31st as a public holiday from the president office and in order to provide the opportunity for more applicants.
The disability award is conferred by the Ministry of Gender and Family and the Disability Council biennially to recognise and acknowledge persons with disabilities and the people who provide invaluable service in protecting and promoting the rights of persons with disabilities. This year, the disability awards will be given in nine areas.
