Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services Aishath Mohamed Didi participated in the High-level Event “Strengthening commitments to prevent, respond, and protect against Sexual and Gender-based Violence in humanitarian crises” on the sidelines of the 75th session of United Nations General Assembly.
The objective of the High-level event is to identify key deliverables for the international community over the next 12 months to further prioritize and strengthen prevention and protection against Sexual Gender- Based Violence in humanitarian settings.
In addition, an analysis of progress and trends on EndSGBV commitments was presented in the event. EndSGBV conference took place in Oslo in May 2019.
