Violence against children
- A total of 75 cases were reported to and attended regarding violence against children in November 2019.
- The most frequently reported cases in this category involve cases of negligence, of which 23 cases were reported during this period.
- Other forms of violence against children include 21 cases of physical abuse, 20 cases of sexual abuse, 5 cases of emotional abuse, 2 cases of victims of cyber bullying, 2 cases of witness to domestic violence, 1 case of exploitation and 1 case of commercial sexual exploitation.
Child rights violations
- A total of 9 cases were reported to and attended in this category in November 2019.
- Reports include 4 cases of refusal of access to education, 2 cases of refusal to vaccinate children, 1 case of denial of birth registration, 1 case of acquiring NID card/ Passport/ Birth Certificate and 1 case of violation of right to health care and medical.
Family issues
- A total of 30 cases were reported to and attended in this category in November 2019.
- Reports include 16 cases of custody or access, 10 cases of parenting issues and 4 cases of child maintenance.
Children in conflict with the law
- A total of 2 cases were reported to and attended in this category in November 2019.
- Reports include 1 case of physical assault or aggression.

- A total of 10 cases were reported to and attended regarding behavioral problems of children in November 2019.
- Reports include 4 cases of running away, 2 cases of perpetrators of bullying and harassment and 1 case of refusal to attend school.
Gender based violence and domestic violence
- A total of 29 cases involving gender based violence and domestic violence were reported to and attended in November 2019.
- The most frequently reported cases involve forms of physical abuse, of which 14 cases were reported during this period.
- Other cases reported in this category involve 5 cases of emotional or verbal abuse, 2 cases of stalking, 2 cases of sexual harassment, 2 cases of intimidation, 1 case of negligence, 1 case of economic and financial abuse, 1 case of withholding or damage to property and 1 case of controlling behavior.
Care and support for elderly and persons with disabilities
- A total of 17 cases were reported to and attended in this category in November 2019.
- Reports include 11 cases regarding care and support to persons with disabilities and 6 cases related to care and support to elderly.
Suicidal behavior/ thoughts
- 2 cases regarding self-harm and suicidal behavior were reported to and attended in November 2019.
