Violence against children
- A total of 125 cases were reported to and attended regarding violence against children in September 2019.
- The most frequently reported cases in this category involve cases of negligence, of which 37 cases were reported during this period.
- Other forms of violence against children include 27 cases of physical abuse, 24 cases of sexual abuse, 14 cases of witness to domestic violence, 12 cases of emotional abuse, 4 cases of victims of bullying and harassment, 3 cases of victims of cyber bullying, 3 cases commercial sexual exploitation and 1 case of exploitation.
Child rights violations
- A total of 7 cases were reported to and attended in this category in September 2019.
- Reports include 3 cases of refusal of access to education, 2 cases of refusal to vaccinate children, 1 case of acquiring NID card/ passport/ birth certificate and 1 case of denial of birth registration.
Family issues
- A total of 26 cases were reported to and attended in this category in September 2019.
- Reports include 12 cases of parenting issues, 8 cases of custody or access and 6 cases of child maintenance.
Children in conflict with the law
- A total of 6 cases were reported to and attended in this category in September 2019.
- Reports include 1 case of drug dealing, 1 case of drug use and 1 case of theft.
Behavioural problems of children
- A total of 14 cases were reported to and attended regarding behavioural problems of children in September 2019.
- Reports include 7 cases of refusal to attend school and 3 cases of running away.
Gender based violence and domestic violence
- A total of 41 cases involving gender based violence and domestic violence were reported to and attended in September 2019.
- The most frequently reported cases involve forms of physical abuse, of which 12 cases were reported during this period.
- Other cases reported in this category involve 9 cases of emotional or verbal abuse, 5 cases of sexual abuse, 5 cases of negligence, 3 cases of economic and financial abuse, 2 cases of controlling behavior, 2 cases of sexual harassment, 1 case of rape, 1 case of intimidation and 1 case of withholding or damage to property.
Care and support for elderly and persons with disabilities
- A total of 23 cases were reported to and attended in this category in September 2019.
- Reports include 16 cases regarding care and support to persons with disabilities and 7 cases related to care and support for elderly.

- 9 cases regarding self-harm and suicidal behaviour were reported to and attended in September 2019.
