Minister of Gender and Family Zenysha Shaheed Zaki has undertaken an official visit to Dhaalu Atoll Kudahuvadhoo from 28 to 29 January. During her visit, she met with staff of the Family and Children Service Centre (FCSC) in Kudahuvadhoo, to discuss ways to strengthen social services provided by the Centre.
Minister Zenysha also held meetings with members of Dh.Atoll Council and Dh.Kudahuvadhoo Island Council, and discussed collaborative efforts to improve the quality of services provided to women, children, elderly and persons with disabilities. In addition, Minister Zenysha met with officials of the Regional Command Police Station in Dh. Atoll, and discussed areas of mutual interest.
Minister Zenysha further visited Dh. Atoll Hospital and met with the management as well as participants of Ranveyla Campaign health screening programme conducted for senior citizens.
Minister Zenysha undertook the visit to Dhaalu Atoll to attend the closing ceremony of the Ranveyla campaign workshop for health and social service workers from Dhaalu and Thaa atolls, to promote and facilitate the wellbeing of senior citizens.
